Meet the Anaheim Team Behind Ironworks Gate Co.

Ironworks Gate Co. has been fixing, hanging, and automating driveway gates across Anaheim since 1984, and the crew you’ll see at your property is the reason that track record holds. No subcontractors, no rotating cast of strangers. Just background-checked, uniformed technicians who live in Orange County, know the difference between a Santa Ana wind gust and a hinge that’s actually failing, and answer to one person: Victor Salinas, Owner & Lead Gate Technician. Most of our team has been with us for over a decade. Some started as apprentices and never left. That continuity matters when a 40-year-old gate needs to close like the day it was hung.

Our People

Victor Salinas, Owner & Lead Gate Technician

Victor founded Ironworks Gate Co. in 1984 and still runs every job like it’s his own driveway. He’s certified on nine gate-automation brands, including LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule, and he’s the one who set the K.E.Y.S. standard the whole crew follows: Krafted right, Every time, Your home first, Standing behind it. When he’s not diagnosing a cantilever slide gate that hasn’t moved smoothly since the late 90s, Victor is usually on the phone with a homeowner talking through a quote, the same way he has for 42 years. He’ll tell you straight what’s worth fixing and what’s worth replacing. Then he’ll quote you a price before a single bolt is turned.

Emilio R., Senior Installer

Emilio has been with Ironworks Gate Co. for 18 years, and there is not a gate style in Anaheim he hasn’t installed or rebuilt. He specializes in custom steel driveway gates and estate gates, handling everything from hinge layout to final weld cleanup. Emilio is the one who trains every new apprentice on square cuts and proper post anchoring, because a gate that sags two years later was never set right in the first place. He’s also the unofficial historian of the crew: if you ask about a gate he installed in 2009 in Anaheim Hills, he’ll remember the house, the color, and which way the wind pushed the gate that year. Outside of work, Emilio restores old trucks, which means he understands rust, patience, and doing it right the first time.

Dana K., Service Coordinator

Dana is the voice on the phone when you call Ironworks Gate Co. at (424) 395-3381. A live person answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that person is often Dana, who has been keeping the Anaheim schedule straight for 9 years. She knows the service area block by block, from the Colony to Platinum Triangle to the neighborhoods off Lincoln Avenue, and she will tell you honestly whether a technician can make it out the same day or whether the problem requires a measured, scheduled visit. Dana also processes the standing offers, including the $50 Off Any Repair Over $250 and the free second opinion on any written estimate, so you’ll never have to ask twice. She keeps a running list of every gate brand on every property in the system, which is why a first visit almost never needs a second.

Marcus T., Apprentice Technician

Marcus joined the crew two years ago after working in commercial welding, and under Emilio’s supervision he’s become the guy who handles gate parts fabrication and on-site welding repairs. He handles the grinding, fitting, and finish work on custom hinges, latch brackets, and gate frame reinforcements, and he’s already certified on four of the nine automation brands Ironworks services. His welding background means he’s particular about penetration and cleanup, a trait Victor encourages. Marcus plays little league baseball with his son in Yorba Linda, and he’s the first to volunteer for the Saturday morning call-outs, which is when a lot of residential gates decide to stop cooperating.

One Standard, Every Job

Every technician at Ironworks Gate Co., from the lead installer to the newest apprentice, works to the same Keystone Standard. That means the job gets a written 90-Day Done Right Promise before we load up and leave. If something isn’t right, we come back and make it right. No paperwork chase, no arguing, no exceptions. The 400th job gets the same care as the first, and that’s not a slogan to us. It’s why Emilio still checks hinge tolerances with a level after 18 years, and why Marcus asks Dana to block an extra half hour on a weld job instead of rushing it. We show up when we say we will. We quote a fair price upfront. And we stand behind every gate we touch in Anaheim, from a rotted wood driveway gate in West Anaheim to a 600-pound steel estate gate in Anaheim Hills. That’s the company Victor built, and it’s the company we plan to keep running for another forty years.
