Signs Your Elite Welding & Fabrication Is Failing

• The gate sags and scrapes the driveway at the latch end. The top hinge plate has stretched or the weld at the hinge post has started to tear. What begins as a quarter-inch of sag becomes a gate that drags a groove in the concrete within a few months.
• The opener pushes but the gate barely moves, and the motor runs hot. A cracked weld at the opener mount lets the motor flex instead of transferring force to the gate. The opener works harder every cycle, and the added strain shortens its life.
• You can see rust bleeding through the paint at a joint or weld. Moisture has gotten under the finish, and the metal is oxidizing from the inside of the joint. In Anaheim’s morning marine layer, a pinhole in the paint becomes structural rust within a couple of rainy seasons.
