Gate Repair Before & After in Anaheim, CA
A gate is one of the first things anyone notices about a home in Anaheim, whether it’s a 1950s ranch in West Anaheim or an estate property up in Anaheim Hills. Before-and-after work tells you more about a company than a page full of promises. The photos that will fill this gallery show the same driveway, the same hinges, the same motor – just cared for properly. The job wasn’t finished until the gate closed quietly and latched square.
Recent Transformations
Sagging Driveway Gate Reset and Welded
Before
AfterYears of daily cycles and Anaheim heat had stretched the top hinge pins and the gate leaf had settled until it scraped concrete on every swing. We removed the leaf, welded gusseted hinge brackets at the post, and rehung it with new heavy-duty ball bearing hinges. The owner can now open it with one hand instead of leaning a shoulder into it.
Failed Gate Opener Replaced, Same Brand Upgraded
Before
AfterA LiftMaster unit that had run for fourteen years finally gave out when the control board failed mid-cycle and left the gate stranded across the driveway in Anaheim Hills. We replaced the operator with a current LiftMaster model on the original mounting post, transferred the safety photo eyes, and ran the full limit and force setup. The gate was closing on its own before our service van pulled out of the neighborhood.
Welded Cracked Frame at the Hinge Post
Before
AfterSteel gates on long driveways in East Anaheim take a lot of wind load, and the frame had finally cracked at the bottom rail where it meets the hinge stile. We ground the crack out to clean metal, welded the joint solid, then added a doublers plate so the repair isn’t just cosmetic. It will outlast the rest of the gate.
Keypad and Intercom Entry Modernized

A four-unit property near Downtown Anaheim had a keypad so sun-bleached nobody could read the numbers, and the intercom had degraded to static. We replaced both with current access hardware, ran new low-voltage wiring through the existing conduit, and programmed individual entry codes for each unit. The owner called back the next day to say the tenants finally stopped buzzing the property manager’s cell phone.
Track and Roller Rebuild on a Sliding Gate

On a long sliding gate off La Palma Avenue, the original rollers had worn flat on one side, and every open cycle sounded like a train derailing. We replaced both roller trucks, rebuilt the track brackets, and adjusted the guide rollers at the top so the gate rides on the correct track edge. The owner admitted she had been putting off the repair for two years because she assumed it needed a full gate replacement.
